Stages

I.

snow laden limbs

bow down to the pressure –

depression smiles

II.

budding limbs birth

& weep teardrop petals –

sadness scatters

III.

lush crowded limbs

stretch toward the sun’s warmth –

happiness shines

IV.

balding limbs sway

& cast off waning leaves –

hope colors and sheds

On inspiration for this piece: This idea was pulled from Poetic Asides's 2015 April PAD Challenge: Day 11. "For today’s prompt, write a seasonal poem."  I decided to go with a collection of four...one for each season.
