Inspiration for this piece and A note on form: It seems like forever since last a Three Word Wednesday collided (on the last Wednesday of the month) with a clarity pyramid; it's only been since November. It take as long to find my way with this one. I do tend to struggle a bit finding the right fit, but having recently looking at a picture of my niece from her recent visit to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, the idea just kind of flowed. ha. its a learning process, manners....especially when you are so excited as to take a tea, with a child mid afternoon....
It takes as long as it takes..and when it comes it's perfect..mind you I think at that age I would put etiquette on hold and enjoy eating cakes and sandwiches with my fingers! good to see you
Yes, it's a tough one to learn not to slurp! I like how "princesses" and "beast" and that adorable photo make me think of fairy tales. Nice work!

hehe...i find slurping princesses charming as long as they're small but when grown up a bit table manners are not bad at all..smiles
"slurping princesses find table etiquette a troublesome beast to best" - I would say this line is perfect, but of course, there is no perfection in poetry. It is beautiful, though - I have a two-year-old daughter, so I have a bias here, but still... the sound and the sense are arranged in this line in a simple but overwhelmingly successful way. Great poetry should be filled with lines such as these; amazing!
